President Ford will veto a bill that would cap new oil prices at 11.30 a barrel and keep old oil at 5.25 a barrel. The veto, expected today, sets up a further clash with Congress as the House weighs Ford's plan to raise overall oil prices to 13.50 a barrel over 30 months.

Apollo Remains For 3 More Days

Space Center Houston reports the Soyuz crew of Alexei Leonov and Valeri Kubasov landed safely in southern central Russia after a two day tandem flight with Apollo astronauts. TV filmed the descent as mission control noted the cosmonauts were in good condition and near the intended landing point. The Apollo crew of Stafford Brand and Slayton remain in orbit to finish earth observations and solar studies, planning a Thursday Pacific splashdown.

Aiken County School Board Set To Meet

The Aiken County Board of Education will hold a regular meeting at 7 30 p m tomorrow in Room 10 at the Educational Center. Agenda items include approval of June 10 minutes status reports by Superintendent T B Willis approval of additional personnel consideration of action by the North Augusta Stadium Committee approval of an agreement with vocational rehabilitation and approval of the lunchroom contract.
