Trial Begins in Edgefield for Man Charged in Elderly Woman Assault
The edgefield county trial started Tuesday for Edward Terrell Chandler 28 charged with first degree burglary kidnapping first degree criminal sexual conduct and strong arm robbery in the February 2015 assault on an 82 year old woman on Lee Street. Deputies say she was attacked sexually robbed tied with cable and clothing around neck before a witness identified Chandler and he was jailed at the edgefield county detention center awaiting trial.

Aiken Department of Public Safety arrested 17 year old Rayshawn Williams on armed robbery and pointing a firearm charges in a July 13 incident on Recreation Drive in Gem Lakes Estates.
