PALFED Inc announces second quarter earnings of 1 021 000 for the quarter ended June 30 and 1 986 000 for the six month period. Deposits rose 26 million or 5 4 percent while loans receivable grew to 504 2 million from 448 million. PALFED, based in Aiken, operates 15 full service 2 limited service and 7 mortgage lending offices in western South Carolina.
