Five Men Arrested in Moore's Furniture Store Break-In
Levi Johnson Wayne Butler Ronnie Washington Eugene Span Randy Freeman were charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny after Moore's Discount Furniture Store was burglarized. Police recovered two televisions valued at 400 each and Panasonic stereos worth 300, with about 100 in window damage.

Assault Cases Reported To Officials In Aiken County
Several Aiken County men were arrested last Tuesday for assault and battery. Robert Lavelle 46 of Burnettown charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature for beating a 14 year old boy. Wesley Broadwater 39 of Aiken picked up in Edgefield County for public drunkeness later accused of beating a sleeping prisoner. Donnie Jones 30 charged with assault and battery for beating his wife. Glen Lowe 23 accused by ex wife of kicking in a car door with $200 damage.
