Aiken Symphony Guild Sustains School Music Program
The Aiken Symphony Guild has long brought the Augusta Symphony to town for three annual concerts and runs the Symphony in the Schools program. Dr. Margaret Fitch established the Holloway Memorial Fund in 1988 to support youth access to classical music, with ongoing gifts from donors funding elementary students’ exposure to live orchestral music. Judith Ruffin leads the program, praising its impact on education and appreciation for classical music among Aiken County’s children.

The South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program and Aiken Technical College sponsor a six week Law School for Non-Lawyers from Sept 14 to Oct 19 on Thursday evenings at Aiken Technical College.
