New Leavelle McCampbell Middle School Planned in Graniteville

The project replaces a 1921 22 era middle school on Canal Street and preserves classical elements while adding modern STEM focused design. It features a two story T plan with admin offices, sixth grade on lower left, seventh and eighth grades on upper level, a central cafeteria and gym, and a separate after hours entrance. A football field lies between the new middle school and Byrd Elementary with construction slated to begin late 2015.
