Junk Treasures And Fun From Aiken Garage Sales
In Aiken families held yard sales to fund choir tours and clear attic clutter. Shoppers bid on shoes, clothes, glassware, and knickknacks at multiple single and multi family stops, with prices pressed by bargaining and a touch of humor. Busy sellers noted that poverty spurred the events and that even everyday items like mason jars and old furniture moved quickly.
