House backs higher Yucca Mountain waste review budget
The House voted 297 to 130 to raise NRC funding from 10 million to 20 million for Yucca Mountain licensing review as part of a 45 million package for Yucca Mountain activities. The measure aims to bar funds to shut down the project, amid Senate opposition and Obama efforts to terminate the site.
