Arrests After Kids and Pets Left in Cars in SC Heat
In South Carolina three people face charges after children and a dog were left inside hot cars. An 81 year old grandmother was jailed after two children aged 6 and 9 were found in a car with a 115 heat index. they exited before police arrived. A Spartanburg couple were charged with animal cruelty for a dog left in a parked car for about an hour. A homeless North Carolina dog walker’s three dogs were so weak they had to be euthanized.
