Cuban exiles honor 41 dead refugees at sea
A flotilla of 19 Cuban exile boats approached Cuban waters from Key West to honor 41 refugees who died when their tug was sunk by gun boats two years earlier. Leader Ramon Raul Sanchez led prayers, sang the Cuban anthem, and released ashes and wreaths, while Coast Guard Dallas kept the line at 12 miles to avoid Cuban entry.
