North Augusta Public Safety issued a release seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted for questioning in a forgery at Security Federal Bank on East Martintown Road. Call 803-279-2121 with any information.
A July 12 2018 booking log lists arrestees including Darrell Kelley Jr and Brandon King charged with domestic violence third degree and unlawful communication, Jeremiah Bing on meth trafficking, Savion Harrison marijuana possession, Patrick Fields disobeying a lawful order, and Tavis Tallent DUI among others. Several entries note bondsman off bond, holds for probation, or warrants. releases or dispositions not confirmed.
A traffic incident on Whiskey Road damaged the H O Weeks Activities Center sign at 4 Whiskey Road. A 36 year old man in a 2006 Ford Taurus reportedly left the road possibly due to a medical issue, with a nearby parked car also damaged. No injuries were reported and the driver received citations for driving on a suspended license and careless driving. The sign will be replaced.
