Prayer rally unites North Augusta residents with political leaders
Residents packed Wade Hampton Veterans Park for a prayer rally praising God and seeking hope for local and national leaders. Speakers included S.C. Senators Tom Young and Shane Massey, Rep. Bill Hixon, Rep. Bill Clyburn, and Mayor Lark Jones. Massey likened current struggles to 1776 and the 1860s, urging faith and resilience as a hopeful rippling effect begins with small steps.
