Silver Bluff road resurfacing planned this summer

The project covers Silver Bluff Road from Whiskey Road to Pine Log Road with resurfacing this summer. SCDOT official Jeff Terry expects work to start in late August or early September while keeping traffic via control. Crews will address deep ruts at Pine Log intersection and resurface the open graded friction course to improve skid resistance. Completion is anticipated next year. The 120 corridor between mile markers 12 and 16 from exits 11 to 5 will also be resurfaced with top-layer replacement.
