Autopsy finds Holiday Inn clerk died of hypoxia, not gunshot

Aiken County Coroner Sue Townsend ruled Leroy Daniel Moore 19 died from hypoxia rather than a gunshot wound from an apparent robbery at the Holiday Inn near Interstate 20. Moore was found in the office around 5:30 a.m. after a late-night theft of the cash register. Investigators will pursue microscopic and toxicology tests as more leads are sought.
