Sun Electric lands Aiken city bid for engine test unit
The Aiken City Council accepted Sun Electric Corporation of Columbia for 8 303.36 over Allen Test Products, citing a one year warranty on parts and labor. The engine analyzer will service city vehicles. Sydney Carter, planning consultant for 25 years, received a medallion from Mayor H Odell Weeks. The council also discussed crime watch zones and an unopened street transfer to FMC Corporation, and set dates for the general election and potential runoff.
