Sunken yacht raised from New York bay

A 34 foot yacht that capsized off Long Island on July Fourth, killing three children, was raised from about 60 feet of water near Oyster Bay and towed to a marina for preliminary inspection. FBI divers and Nassau Police moved the vessel to shore for a full examination to determine the accident’s cause. No charges were filed and authorities said intoxication did not appear to be a factor. The boat’s owner’s attorney contends overcrowding was not to blame.
