Jim and Tammy Bakker, ousted PTL leaders, boarded attorney Melvin Belli's 110 foot yacht Adequate Award at South Beach Harbor. They attended Belli's 80th birthday gala with about 5,000 invited guests at the Bells Building.
Inmates were shown a Spanish dubbed version of the adult film Debbie Does Dallas on the Bronx House of Detention closed circuit system before a guard complained and the screening was cut. The officer who selects daily films was suspended for a day awaiting charges, and Capt. Thomas McCann faced a conduct charge.
