Five killed in small plane crash near Orlando neighborhood
The crash killed five people including Dr. Bruce Kennedy, husband of NASCAR official Lesa France Kennedy, and Michael Klemm, a NASCAR Aviation pilot. The wreck damaged two homes, with three others injured, one a 10 year old burned severely. The plane traveled from Daytona Beach to Lakeland, declared cockpit smoke, and failed to land at Orlando Sanford International Airport.
