Masks No Longer Mandatory on S C School Buses
The South Carolina Department of Education bans mandatory mask use on school buses for the 2021 22 year under Proviso 1.108. State Superintendent Molly Spearman notes districts cannot require masks but may encourage their use. Aiken County Public Schools plans to follow guidance while still recommending masks on buses.
