A 29 year old Aiken man Michael Maglione of Juanita Drive was charged with breaking and entering an automobile after a theft in a Whiskey Road parking lot. The victim confronted the man as he entered her SUV and he fled toward a nearby restaurant where he was detained. Police recovered evidence.
Police report an assault on a 7 year old with an older juvenile alleged to push the victim into a fence. Five men were charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol and weapon with an obliterated serial number after a Ridge Avenue traffic stop. None admitted ownership of the firearm found in the vehicle. A 27 year old, Evan Jimerson, was charged after officers found a handgun while he sat in a parking lot on East Pine Log Road.
