79-Year-Old Man Killed In Drunken-Driving Crash
An Aiken man, Willie Lee Briggs, 79, died Saturday night after a collision on New Holland and Shaw's Fork roads when a 1987 Chevy pickup ran a stop sign. Glenn Gustafson, 40, was driving the other vehicle and reportedly had a blood alcohol level over twice the legal limit. Briggs's grandchildren were injured lightly, and Gustafason faced possible felony DUI charges.
