London bus blast and subway explosions create mass casualty scene
In London four coordinated blasts hit commuter routes during morning rush hour. The roof of a red double decker flew about 30 feet, trains derailed as flames shot along a subway, and hundreds were wounded or killed. Buses ferried the injured while medics treated victims outside a hotel turned hospital. Surgeons and doctors from the British Medical Association aided victims as bystanders filmed the devastation.
