Arts Festival Dates In Aiken Week Of Activities Set
The second annual Aiken Arts and Humanities Festival is planned for Oct 10 16 under the Aiken County Arts Council. Molly Gray directs with Sharon Brinkman assisting. events include a juried art show by the Aiken Artist Guild, lectures by USC Aiken and Atlanta scholars, a Thursday one man show by John Maxwell, a Friday black tie gala, a Saturday parade and day long program at H Odell Weeks Center, and a production of The Children's Hour by USC Aiken drama. Partial funding comes from the South Carolina Arts Commission and the SC Bureau of Tourism. membership details are listed, and breastfeeding info event is hosted by La Leche League at 2 p.m. in Aiken Estates.
