SRNS and Fluor push to dismiss federal suit
SRNS and Fluor Federal file new documents on July 1 backing an earlier May 20 motion to dismiss the federal lawsuit. The complaint alleges the companies overcharged the government $1.2 million in unallowable expenses under a cost reimbursement contract at the Savannah River Site. Judge J. Michelle Childs is overseeing the case with no hearing date yet set.

University of Illinois archaeology team led by Dr. Christopher Fennell continues at Pottersville off Meeting Street Edgefield uncovering bricks pottery shards and evidence of a large kiln and pug mill from the 1800s.
