Man and woman charged after drugs and guns found
Two Jackson residents Bruce Knight and Patricia Ross were arrested on trafficking methamphetamine and firearms charges after deputies stopped their vehicle on Foreman Road at Hidden Springs Road. Police found methamphetamine, multiple firearms, a syringe, cash over 18000 dollars, and a glass pipe. Both were released from the Aiken County detention center.

Seniors Beach Retreat set for Myrtle Beach trip
The City of Aiken Parks and Recreation will host a Seniors Beach Retreat to Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach from September 28 to October 1.
