DOE seeks bids for Savannah River Site management contract
DOE plans a five year contract on all missions or parts at SRS environmental management, national nuclear security, and Savannah River National Laboratory. Cleanup will extend about 20 years costing $20 billion. Vendors will bid after July meetings, with a final RFP expected after public input and a new contract in place by Sept 30, 2006.
