Belvedere Man Held After Lifelong Friends Stabbing
Billie Mangrum Jr, 49, of 842 Edgefield Road Lot 25, is jailed on assault and battery with intent to kill after a friend, Eugene Foster 40, was stabbed in the stomach near midnight at Mangrum’s mobile home over a blanket. Foster was taken to University Hospital in ICU. Mangrum faces possible arraignment with no bond set. The incident stems from a dispute over Foster’s blanket, owned by Foster. investigators describe a fatal threat.
