Military Band Charms Crowd At Hopelands Gardens Concert
The Parris Island Marine Band drew a standing room only crowd at Hopelands Gardens with patriotic selections including Sousa marches. A Kennedy Middle student led "Thunderer" on stage and received a Marine Corps cap and baton. Robbery Report At Circle K In North Augusta
About 11 30 p m Sunday two men armed with a silver revolver robbed the Circle K on Atomic Road in North Augusta. They wore ski masks and gloves, demanded money, and fled after grabbing the cash. Both suspects were about 5 feet 10 inches tall. The case is under investigation and police seek tips at 279 2121.
