About 2,100 South Carolina school buses were taken off the road for inspection after a Richland County bus carrying students caught fire. The blaze, tied to a faulty battery cable in a Type D bus, caused no injuries as students returned from a field trip. Authorities will inspect the battery cable housing as a safety precaution.
