Man Charged with Murder in Wagener Incident
Clarence D. Regan 48 of 757 Big Branch Road Wagener is charged with murder after a daytime argument with a victim whose name is withheld. Regan retrieved a handgun from a mobile home and shot the victim in the face before fleeing to call 911. Deputies arrested him. a .22 caliber handgun was recovered nearby. The victim’s dog allegedly attacked Regan’s girlfriend’s dog. Regan is held at Aiken County Detention Center.

Newberry College will offer South Carolina first chemistry degree with a forensic science concentration in partnership with the State Law Enforcement Division. The program blends theory and hands on work, with internships in SLED labs to shorten training. Capt.
