State to begin three year review of state agency computer security
A three year program to evaluate and upgrade security at state agencies should start in March. A contracted firm will assess 18 agencies over three years, with initial work on three agencies and a May 1 recommendations deadline. The effort follows a cyber data theft at the Department of Revenue and seeks to standardize statewide security practices.
