Winter storm impacts and milder outlook in South Carolina

Freezing rain sleet and snow disrupted parts of South Carolina with vehicles in ditches and power outages in Aiken. Forecasters expect milder weather with a high near 48 degrees and a sunnier start to the work week though some rain may linger midweek. Government admits to nuclear exposure.

The government for the first time acknowledged that workers at four nuclear weapons plants since World War II were exposed to radiation and chemicals linked to higher cancer risks. Clemson renames stadium for industrialist Doug Kingsmore

Aiken businessman and Clemson alumnus Doug Kingsmore was honored Friday night as Clemson University renamed its baseball stadium Doug Kingsmore Stadium at a Madren Center ceremony. Kingsmore, a 1955 graduate, played in the Orioles system and now runs a business partnership with Auburn graduate Rod Grandy. He credits athletics with teamwork skills and meeting his wife, Vicki Heard, through Clemson.

Former coach Henry Caver remembered for life changing impact

Former Lan gley-Bath-Clearwater High School coach Henry Caver left a lasting mark on players like Delano Heath.
