Three Laurens men charged in fatal restaurant shooting
Laurens police say Ramiro Alvarez 38 was shot outside the Twin Palmetto restaurant during a Robbery attempt. Johnny Powers 17 Rendrick Hill 29 were arrested and charged with murder conspiracy to commit armed robbery and accessories after the fact. Abbeville Man Charged With Sex Crime Against Minor
An Abbeville man William Edward Ronca 26 is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor after a 10 year old girl became pregnant. The girl’s mother says she was unaware of the pregnancy and a guidance counselor noted withdrawal from school. Ronca, who has a child with the mother, was arrested Tuesday and held at Abbeville County jail.
