Aiken Crime Report Details DUIs Thefts and Vandalism
A 24 year old Lexington man detained for DUI after his vehicle struck a tree on Silver Bluff Road. A 26 year old Graniteville man detained for DUI on Whiskey Road for tail light. A 20 year old Aiken man charged with criminal domestic violence after pushing the mother of his child. Vandalism reports include four egged vehicles on Greenwich Drive and thefts on Richland Avenue York Street and Lakeside Drive. A shooting on Bradley Lane left shell casings. Frauds include credit card purchases in New Jersey and attempted credit accounts in another name. Burglary on Chesterfield Street and vehicle break ins on Lakeside Drive Walker Avenue Harper Valley Drive and other locations. Purses stolen from a restaurant on Richland Avenue. Additional burglaries and vehicle thefts reported across Aiken County towns.

Robbery on Fairfield Street Targeted Aiken Paper Carrier
Aiken Standard carrier was robbed at gunpoint while delivering papers about 5:22 a.m. Wednesday in front of Croft House on Fairfield Avenue. The 21-year-old victim handed over about $50 and pepper sprayed the suspect before he fled on a black bicycle.
