Wagener Man Shot By Burglar Escapes Injury
Stewart Ard 18 drove himself to Wagener EMS after being shot in the shoulder by a burglar leaving through Ard’s back door. He reached Lexington Center in stable condition. Investigators say weapons were missing from the home and a bloodhound track was unsuccessful as the two suspects fled in a vehicle.
