Cooler temperatures ahead after January warmth in Aiken
Meteorologist Chris Rohrbach of the National Weather Service in Columbia says a cool down is coming to the Aiken area. Highs near the mid to lower 50s and lows in the mid to lower 30s are expected as conditions return to normal, influenced by a weak La Nina pattern and surrounding weather systems. The National Weather Service notes daily records at Columbia Metropolitan Airport as weather shifts.
