Aiken police report a Friday afternoon armed robbery at the Eckerd Drug Store on Pine Log Road. A Black man with an afro, mustache, and plaid shirt fled on foot after displaying a silver revolver. no shots fired and no injuries. Lt. Tom Galardi noted limited details available.
In a four month undercover operation, Swansea neighborhood raids led to 11 drug arrests with 94 warrants for offenses tied to more than 40 people.
