Three jailed for growing marijuana in Crosland Park closet
Aiken County deputies detained Tyaire Washington Fred Washington and Davarius Johnson after finding marijuana growing in a closet of a Crosland Park Apartments unit. Johnson claimed ownership of the plant and drug paraphernalia, while Washington and Fred Washington were later charged with manufacturing and possession of marijuana. All three were placed in the detention center. Johnson remained in custody Friday.

Armed robbery ends with teen shot in Aiken County
Aiken County deputies investigate an armed robbery near Trolley Line Road and Tricemont Street where a 19 year old man was shot in the left thigh. He described a 6 foot 2 inch Black male suspect in all black with a full-face mask. Separately a scam victim, 37, says he was contacted by someone claiming to be with the sheriff and asked for bank info to withdraw two payments for a fictitious court case.
