Bail Hearing Set Today In Murder Case
An arraignment and bail hearing were to be held this morning for three men charged in the 1982 killing of 35 year old Linda Terri Bradberry. Leroy Craig 56 of Vaucluse and Allen Blanding Hammett 50 of Charleston are charged with murder kidnapping and armed robbery. James Edward Green 42 of Aiken is charged as an accessory before murder. Sheriff Heath hinted that other arrests may follow. Mrs Bradberry's body was found Sunday afternoon Dec 12 1982 between the front seats of her AMC Pacer parked in front of Quattlebaum's Store on New Holland Road. She died from a shotgun blast to the back of the head. She was reported missing by her husband Swint E.
