Road S-1022 improvement plan near Redds Branch Church
Citizens of Aiken County are notified of planned improvement on Road S-1022 from pavement end to Road S-260 about one mile east of Redds Branch Church between Couchtown and Aiken. The project calls for a bituminous surface at least 20 feet wide with shoulders to form a two lane facility. Written requests for a public hearing on social and economic effects must be received by February 7, 1972 addressed to J. D. McMahan Jr. State Highway Engineer. The department has determined environmental study is not necessary and the written statement is available for public inspection.
