Rescue over Bay Point Island ends five day ordeal
Charleston couple Pettigrew and wife Katie, ages 81 and 80, were blown out to sea on a fishing trip Thursday. Their 18 foot boat washed ashore on Bay Point Island Saturday after three days in 12 foot waves. A Marine Corps Air Station helicopter spotted them Monday, saving the pair.
