South Carolina House Clears King Day Measure
The South Carolina House passed a King Day resolution 58 to 32 after opposition from Rep. Arnold Goodstein and other debate. The chamber also introduced a $2.5 million allocation request from revenue sharing funds for rural environmental and pollution control programs, referred to the Agriculture Committee.
