Greenpeace piracy claim prompts readers to demand editorial review
A letter to the editor argues that a January 21 2004 AP piece misrepresents a government lawsuit against Greenpeace. The writer contends the case centers on piracy law for boarding a ship with mahogany cargo and dumping it, not environmental protest. He urges the Aiken Standard to move political content from news to editorials.
