Bond set for sex suspect in Beech Island case
Aiken County judge set bonds totaling 389000 dollars for 64 year old Robert Dorsett of 702 Coastal Drive Beech Island on more than two dozen sexual offense charges involving minors over 20 years. Dorsett faces lewd acts on minors criminal sexual conduct first and second degree contributing to delinquency of minors and distribution of obscene material. The arrest followed complaints by alleged victims who say he lured children some as young as 10 with alcohol and Penthouse magazines. State Attorney Suzanne Mayes is expected to prosecute the case in the Second Judicial Circuit.
