Seven year old Crystal Jenkins dies after liver transplant
Crystal Jenkins a 7 year old Blackville girl who received a liver transplant in Chicago has died from complications of a massive infection. The operation at Rush Presbyterian St Luke's hospital lasted sixteen hours and left her in critical but stable condition before her death at 4:05 PM CST. She also had a blood clot in an artery to the liver.
