Williston Man Charged After Vase Attack in Aiken
A 54-year-old Williston man, Michael Anthony Carson, was charged with third degree assault and battery after allegedly throwing a vase of flowers at his girlfriend during a dispute on Hobcaw Court. He turned himself in after police located him by phone. A separate incident on Brandt Court led to two detentions after a large crowd fight, with one 24-year-old man charged with third degree assault and battery and failure to comply. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after being used as a get away driver in a Walmart shoplifting case on Richland Avenue. the adult suspect remained at large.
