Clean Water Beneath Planned Nuclear Waste Site

The report notes two buried clay masses south of the site blocking deeper reservoirs, while northward groundwater flow remains unimpeded. The study, Water Resources Investigations Report 88 4221, is available at the USGS office in Columbia.
