The Aiken Women’s Heart Board held its yearly Heart Board Tea from 1 30 to 4 30 p m at Sunny Corner the historic home of Ross and Tommie Culligan on South Boundary Avenue They served tea finger sandwiches and sweets gave Sunny Corner tours and sold reserved tickets to the 43rd Heart Board Musical It’s Dandy in Deadwood.

Fundraiser supports Richardson family at Chick-fil-A
Residents from across the area rallied at Aiken's Chick-fil-A to support the family of slain Aiken Public Safety Officer Scotty Richardson. A portion of proceeds benefited the Edward Scott Richardson Children's Fund as the 33 year old officer, shot December 20, died at Georgia Health Sciences University.
