A rider from the Aiken Hounds fell unconscious while jumping a fence in Hitchcock Woods and was transported to the Medical College of Georgia after his horse ran off toward Colleton Avenue. Linda Knox McLean said the injured man is from the Aiken area and in stable condition. another rider also fell at the same fence. Public Safety and Woods staff coordinated EMS as the horse was chased and brought back to safety.
