Dawn Wall climbers toast with small comforts on El Capitan
Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson free climbed Yosemite's Dawn Wall, living 19 days on the sheer granite while enduring bruised fingers and brutal falls. They ate coffee Indian food and chocolate sent from the valley and drank whiskey. They hope their feat inspires teamwork and belief in dreams. The ascent began December 27 and ended after 19 days on the wall.
